The LA84 Foundation is a nationally recognized leader in support of youth sport programs and public education regarding the role of sports in positive youth development. Our partnership with LA84 aims to facilitate ample opportunities for collaboration, networking, and professional engagement between two organizations for mutual benefit. It is anticipated that greater collaboration will strengthen LA84’s execution of its mission, while enhancing of the teaching, research, and service provided by NASSM’s membership and wider audience.

The American Kinesiology Association promotes and enhances kinesiology as a unified field of study and advances its many applications. The AKA does this by advocating for kinesiology at national and international levels as well as by supporting its member departments by providing resource materials and leadership and educational opportunities for university administrators in kinesiology.

The central purpose of The Academy of Leisure Sciences (TALS) is the intellectual advancement of leisure sciences through recognition of outstanding scholars, hosting of meetings and symposia, and facilitation of activities that promote research and scholarly activity. Our partnership with TALS aims to facilitate opportunities for collaboration, networking, and cross-disciplinary engagement between the organizations. It is anticipated that collaborative efforts will strengthen research cultures, inform teaching and learning development, and broaden global links to policy and industry developments.
